Lava Bold N2 officially launched in India, here is everything you need to know

Lava has launched the Bold N2 in India. This is a budget smartphone and the successor of the Lava Bold N1 that launched last year. The Bold N2 comes with a 5000 mAh battery and a 13-megapixel primary camera. The phone will go on sale in the country on February 27 on Amazon.

The Lava Bold N2 follows closely after the launch of another budget offering, the Lava Yuva 3, which debuted just last week.

Lava Bold N2 design, specs and features

The Bold N2 sports a square camera module on the rear with two cut-out lenses. The flat-framed device features a water drop notch on the front, housing the selfie camera.
Running Android 15 Go, the Bold N2 promises a clutter-free experience with no bloatware or ads. It has a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

On the photography front, the Bold N2 offers a dual rear camera setup led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera. A 5,000mAh battery keeps the lights on, while a side-mounted fingerprint scanner adds a layer of security.

In terms of processor, the Bold N2 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset. It carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The handset comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with virtual RAM expansion support that allows you to extend it by an additional 4GB.

Lava Bold N2 Price, colours and availability in India

The Lava Bold N2 price is set at Rs 7,499 in India for a single configuration, which features 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone will be available in two colour variants: Indus Black and Siachen White. The phone is scheduled to go on sale exclusively via Amazon on February 27.

If you are a Bold N1 user, then you may find a few compelling reasons to switch to the Bold N2 because the Lava Bold N2 appears to have more or less the same specs as its predecessors.

The Lava Bold N1 is also powered by the same Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the dual rear setup is led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor, while 5-megapixel front camera handles selfies. It has the same 5,000mAh battery charged via USB Type-C. Storage-wise, the phone offers 64GB of internal space, expandable up to 256GB.
