Mahindra to Supply 35,000 Scorpio Pik-Ups to Indonesia from 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has secured a major export order to supply 35,000 units of its Scorpio Pik-Up to Indonesian government-owned firm PT Agrinas, with deliveries set to begin in 2026.

Strategic Global Expansion

The automaker stated the binding agreement aligns with its strategy to grow its international footprint and utilise its manufacturing strength.

“We are pleased to announce that we have signed a binding agreement with PT Agrinas, an Indonesian government-owned company, for the supply of 35,000 units of our purpose-built, right-hand drive, pick-up vehicle, the Scorpio Pik-Up,” the company said.

“The supply of vehicles is scheduled to commence in 2026,” it added.

M&M expressed confidence that its vehicle will meet Indonesian customer needs and support the local automotive industry’s growth.

“This agreement is in line with our strategy to expand our global presence and leverage our manufacturing capabilities. We are confident that our Scorpio Pik-Up will meet the needs of our customers in Indonesia and contribute to the growth of the automotive industry in the country,” the company said.

Strong Financial Backdrop

The export news follows robust quarterly and annual results from M&M.

  • Q4 FY24: Standalone net profit surged 32% YoY to ₹2,038 crore; revenue rose 11% to ₹25,109 crore.
  • Full FY24: Net profit grew 25% to ₹10,282 crore, while revenue increased 15% to over ₹1 lakh crore (₹1,00,577 crore).

On the day of the announcement, M&M shares closed marginally lower by 0.44% at ₹2,850.05 on the BSE.
