Airtel Swaps Free Perplexity Pro for Adobe Express Premium

Airtel Ends Free Perplexity Pro, Offers Adobe Express Premium Instead

Bharti Airtel has discontinued its complimentary Perplexity Pro subscription for postpaid and select high-value prepaid users, impacting millions. Simultaneously, the telecom giant has introduced a new free one-year subscription to Adobe Express Premium for the same customer base.

Key Changes for Airtel Customers

  • Ended Benefit: Free access to Perplexity Pro’s AI search features.
  • New Benefit: Complimentary Adobe Express Premium (worth ₹2,268/year).
  • Eligibility: Airtel Postpaid, Black, and Xstream Fiber customers.

What Was Perplexity Pro?

The discontinued offer provided advanced AI search capabilities, including unlimited Quick Searches, Pro searches, file analysis, and access to multiple AI models.

In an email to users, Airtel stated, “Your complimentary subscription to Perplexity Pro, provided with your Airtel Postpaid/Black connection, has ended.” The company thanked customers for the “exclusive experience.”

New Free Adobe Express Premium Offer

The replacement benefit grants a full year of Adobe Express Premium, a design and video editing platform. It includes premium templates, Adobe Stock assets, quick video editing tools, and generative AI features.

How to Activate the Adobe Benefit

  1. Open the Airtel Thanks app.
  2. Go to the ‘Discover’ section.
  3. Claim the Adobe Express Premium offer.
  4. Use the unique redemption code on Adobe’s website.

This strategic shift highlights Airtel’s approach of rotating value-added services to retain premium subscribers in a competitive market.
