PM Modi, Venezuela’s Acting President Agree to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a conversation with Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy RodrÃguez on Friday, with both leaders agreeing to deepen and expand the partnership between the two nations across multiple sectors.
Key Areas of Cooperation
In a post on social media platform X, PM Modi outlined the scope of the enhanced partnership. “Spoke with Acting President of Venezuela, Ms. Delcy RodrÃguez. We agreed to further deepen and expand our bilateral partnership in all areas, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, culture and people-to-people ties,” the Prime Minister stated.
Diplomatic Exchanges
During the call, PM Modi congratulated RodrÃguez on her recent appointment as the Acting President of Venezuela. He also conveyed his condolences on the passing of former President Hugo Chávez FrÃas.
The Prime Minister expressed his commitment to working closely with RodrÃguez to further strengthen the longstanding friendly relations between India and Venezuela.
