HSSC Extends Haryana Police Constable Application Deadline to Nov 30

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has extended the online registration deadline for the recruitment of 6,000 police constables. The new last date to apply is November 30, 2024. This extension follows a one-time age relaxation announced by the state government.

Key Updates for Candidates

  • New Deadline: November 30, 2024.
  • Age Relaxation: A one-time relaxation of five years for all candidate categories.
  • Application Window Reopened: From November 15, 2024.
  • Total Vacancies: 6,000 constable posts (male and female).

What Candidates Need to Know

The application process, which initially closed on October 31, was reopened on November 15 after the government’s age relaxation announcement. This relaxation applies only to the current recruitment drive.

Candidates who have already submitted their applications do not need to reapply. However, those who wish to modify their existing forms or apply for the first time can do so on the official HSSC portal: hssc.gov.in.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a multi-stage process:

  1. Written Examination
  2. Physical Screening Test (PST)
  3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
