Gujarat Govt Disburses Rs 9,466 Crore To 32 Lakh Farmers Hit By Unseasonal Rains
The Gujarat government has disbursed Rs 946.6 crore in financial aid to 32 lakh farmers across the state who were impacted by unseasonal rains in November 2024. The relief amount was transferred directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).

In a related development, the state government has also provided assistance for damage caused by unseasonal rains in March 2025. An amount of Rs 1,000 crore has been disbursed to 35 lakh farmers affected during this period.
The direct fund transfer initiative aims to ensure timely and transparent financial support reaches the affected agricultural community without delays.
