Servotech Renewable Power System has secured a major ₹74 crore rooftop solar project under the government’s PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, marking a significant step in India’s renewable energy expansion.

Project Details and Implementation

The New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (NREDCAP) awarded the contract to Servotech. The company will handle complete design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of rooftop solar plants across 5,886 scheduled caste and scheduled tribe households.

The project will utilize a utility-led aggregation model and includes comprehensive five-year operation and maintenance support, ensuring long-term sustainability.

Sarika Bhatia, Whole-Time Director of Servotech, stated: “We…have (got an) opportunity to work with NREDCAP on a project that brings solar energy directly to thousands of consumers from the community. The order reflects commitment to advancing inclusive clean energy growth and demonstrates our ability to execute large-scale distributed solar deployments with precision and quality.”
