A senior government official announced on Monday that the first phase of the proposed India-US bilateral trade agreement is nearing completion. This initial package is set to resolve key market access issues and long-standing tariff disputes between the two nations.

- The 25% reciprocal tariffs imposed on each other’s goods.
- The 25% tariffs on Indian oil exports to the US.
