Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE launching in two days: Specs, expected India price, other details

At the MWC Barcelona 2026 event in early March, Vivo first showcased its next-generation camera flagship, the Vivo X300 Ultra. It is touted as the first smartphone to feature two 200-megapixel cameras along with external Zeiss telephoto lenses. At the time, the brand’s promise of a global launch signalled that it would become the first Ultra model to debut outside the Chinese market. Now, with just two days remaining, the device is set to arrive for Indian customers on May 6, alongside the Vivo X300 FE.

The Chinese company has already begun teasing the device online. A dedicated microsite is live on major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, indicating that the devices will be available through both channels.

Vivo X300 Ultra specs and features

The Vivo X300 Ultra is confirmed to feature a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device will run on Vivo’s latest OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, and is promised to receive up to five years of OS updates along with seven years of security patches.

Photography is one of the major strengths of the smartphone and will sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The camera system will carry ZEISS branding and support advanced features like 4K video recording at 120fps with Dolby Vision. For selfies and video calls, the phone will house a 50MP front camera. Additionally, Vivo will offer a telephoto extender kit separately in two variants.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will be backed by a 6,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. The device will also come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and will be available in Eclipse Black and Victory Green colour options.

The device is said to achieve an AnTuTu score of over 3 million and is expected to compete with rivals like the OnePlus 15R and iQOO 15R.

In terms of cameras, the smartphone is equipped with a triple rear setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
