OnePlus launches Nord 6 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and 9000mAh battery, price is Rs 38,999

Putting all shutdown rumours to rest, OnePlus has launched the Nord 6 in India today. Sequel to last year’s Nord 5, the OnePlus Nord 6 brings some noticeable upgrades over its predecessor in almost every perceivable way. The chip is faster, the battery is bigger, and the design is different, well almost. The Nord 5 was an easy recommendation especially for top-grade performance seekers. Suffice to say that the Nord 6 has big shoes to fill – luckily OnePlus came prepared.

OnePlus Nord 6 price, availability details

OnePlus has launched the Nord 6 in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The base variant is priced at Rs 38,999, while the 12GB model is priced at Rs 41,999. The smartphone will be available in colour options such as Quick Silver, Fresh Mint and Pitch Black.

In India, the OnePlus Nord 6 will go on open sale starting April 9, 2026, at 12 noon IST. The device will be available via Amazon, OnePlus India website, the OnePlus Store app, and offline through OnePlus Experience Stores and select retail outlets.

As part of launch offers, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank credit card users can avail up to Rs 3,000 instant discount on EMI transactions and Rs 2,000 off on full swipe transactions. With these offers, the effective price drops to Rs 35,999 for the 8GB variant and Rs 38,999 for the 12GB variant. Buyers can also opt for up to 6 months of no-cost EMI on leading credit cards.

Additionally, OnePlus has introduced accessories alongside the Nord 6, including a Sandstone Magnetic Case priced at Rs 799 and a SUPERVOOC 100W Dual Ports GaN Power Adapter priced at Rs 3,199. Both accessories will be available from April 9 via OnePlus channels.

OnePlus Nord 6 full specs, features and everything else to know

The OnePlus Nord 6 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The panel supports 165Hz refresh rate (non-LTPO) and it can top 3,600 nits, OnePlus claims.

Under the hood, the Nord 6 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Running the show is Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 software. Powering the phone is a 9,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It can also charge other devices at up to 27W with reverse charging feature.

On the camera front, the OnePlus Nord 6 features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA-600 primary sensor behind an optically stabilised lens. You also get an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera in this phone. The front camera is a 32-megapixel. The device supports 4K video recording and includes multiple AI-based imaging tools.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6. Biometrics are handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Nord 6 has a chassis made of plastic and comes in a choice of three colours. Rounding off the package are dual speakers along with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
