The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has declared the SSLC Result 2026 for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Class 10) examination at 11am today.
The announcement brings an end to weeks of anticipation for tens of thousands of students who sat the board exams earlier this year.
The Class 10 examinations were conducted across the state from January30 to February11, 2026, with students appearing in subjects including English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science and languages over several days. These exams were held in one shift, generally from 10am to 1pm.
Over 48,000 students took the SSLC exams this year, with candidates from both Shillong and Tura regions participating.

MBOSE has released results exclusively in online mode. Students and parents should use any of the following official platforms to access the scorecards:
- Official board website: mbose.in
- Designated result portals: mboseresults.in and megresults.nic.in
The board has clarified that results will not be displayed at MBOSE offices in Shillong or Tura.
HOW TO CHECK THE SSLC RESULT 2026
Once on the official portal, follow these steps:
- Open mbose.in or any official result portal listed above.
- Click on the “Class 10 SSLC Result 2026” link.
- Enter your roll number exactly as on your admit card.
- Complete any CAPTCHA or verification prompt.
- View your result on screen.
- Download and save or print a copy for records.
Students are advised not to panic while trying to download their scorecards. As the website might crash due to heavy traffic for checking results.
WHAT THE SSLC SCORECARD WILL SHOW
The Meghalaya SSLC Result 2026 online scorecard provides detailed information that students will need for admissions and future academic records. The digital marksheet will include:
- Personal Information – Student’s name, roll number, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth.
- School Details – School name, school code/number, and the name of the examining board (MBOSE).
- Subject-wise Marks – Scores obtained in each subject, including theory and practical/internal assessments where applicable.
- Total Marks – Aggregate score across all subjects to show overall performance.
- Grades/CGPA – Grade achieved in each subject (e.g., A1, B2) and overall CGPA if applicable.
- Result Status – Final “Pass” or “Fail” status based on minimum qualifying marks.
While the online scorecard provides immediate information, the original marksheet will be issued later through schools and should be kept safe for all future academic or admission purposes.
WHAT’S NEXT AFTER THE RESULT
Students should review their subject-wise marks carefully. Those who do not meet the minimum passing criteria, at least 30% in each subject and 33% overall, will need to apply for re-examinations or supplementary exams when announced by MBOSE.
For students who have passed, the scorecard can be used provisionally for higher secondary admissions until the official certificate is received. Schools will guide students on the process for stream selection in Class 11, based on their marks and interests.
It is recommended that students keep a digital copy of the result and note down important details like roll number and total marks, as these will be useful for future reference and any administrative requirements.
