2026 Suzuki Burgman Street 125: Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the second-generation Burgman Street 125 in the domestic market, bringing a range of updates in design, features and underpinnings. The scooter is priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Ride Connect Edition, while the Ride Connect TFT Edition costs Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to compete with TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia 125 and Aprilia SXR 125.
The updated Burgman Street 125 is now based on a new platform derived from the Suzuki Access 125. The revised frame is claimed to be 500 grams lighter while offering 25 percent higher torsional rigidity.
It is powered by a 124cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine that produces 8.4hp and 10.2Nm, paired with a CVT gearbox. The scooter continues to offer both electric and kick start options. Suzuki has also introduced a new starter clutch for quieter operation, along with improvements in mid-range acceleration and a retuned exhaust note.
Suzuki Burgman Street 125: Design and feature updates
The most noticeable changes are in the styling. The scooter now gets a revised LED headlamp and tail-lamp setup, along with a more angular exhaust muffler.
The top-spec variant features a TFT display and a multifunction key fob that enables keyless ignition and can control the seat, fuel lid and handle lock. Lower variants continue with an LCD display and a conventional key. The fuel filler has been repositioned under the tail-lamp for easier access.
Suzuki Burgman Street 125: Weight and hardware
The suspension setup has been kept unchanged, with telescopic forks at the front and a rear monoshock. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum with a Combined Braking System, while ABS is not offered.
Kerb weight stands at 114kg for the LCD variant and 115kg for the TFT version, making it heavier than the Access.
