Bryon Noem, husband of former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, is facing intense public attention after reports about his private online activity surfaced.
Claims from performer and online Activity
A webcam performer, Lydia Love who is 28 spoke to The Daily Beastclaimed she had interacted with Bryon over a period of time.
Love said she recognized Bryon as soon as his photos started circulating online. She talked about his preferences, saying he would wear yoga pants and a tight shirt while she guided him during sessions. She added that his choices stood out to her. “I have never had a client who wanted them so big,” she said. “That’s why it was so shocking to me.”
Love said Bryon visited her around 10 to 15 times over a period of one and a half to two years with each session lasting about 10 minutes. She recalled that he would often begin by talking about stress. “I’d go into the whole spiel of ‘now we can have fun, I hope this makes your day better,’” she said.
When asked whether Kristi Noem knew about it, Love was direct. “There is no way in hell that she did not know for that long. He didn’t just wake up two years ago and start talking to cam girls about wanting to be a woman,” she said. “A lot of the wives know and either they’re in denial or they have a really secretive partner.”
She also shared her thoughts on why Bryon may have been interested in this. “A lot of the time, these ‘sissy’ guys want to be the women that they are in relationships with and look like them,” she said. “So seeing Noem’s transformation with cosmetic procedures makes a lot of sense to me. I’m sure he was living through her in some ways.”
What is the controversy?
The Daily Mail published photos of Bryon Noem wearing pink hotpants and a crop top with inflated balloons under his shirt which quickly went viral. The report said he paid adult performers for his fetish roleplays and sent at least $25,000 over 14 months with messages mentioning “huge, huge ridiculous boobs.”
When contacted, Bryon did not deny the chats or photos but he denied claims related to national security concerns and said, “Yeah, I made no comments like that, that would lead to that,” and added, “I deny the second part of that.”
The report comes just weeks after Kristi Noem was removed from her role as Homeland Security Secretary becoming the first member of Donald Trump’s cabinet to be dismissed this term.
People of Bryon’s hometown feel sorry for him
According to the reports of The New York Times, people in Bryon Noem’s hometown reacted with sympathy. Many found it hard to believe the reports. “Must be A.I.,” said Kevin Ruesink. “I grew up playing ball with Bryon. I’ve never known him to be part of stuff like that. I don’t believe that at all.”
Others described him as a kind and supportive person. “People know Bryon as the supportive husband who worked to maintain a normal family life as Kristi’s profile skyrocketed,” said Brad Johnson. Nancy Turbak added, “I am sorry that Bryon is now the subject of so much attention himself… I wish he were not going through this.” One local summed it up simply: “Such a nice man… It just tears me up.”
