The Bihar Board Class 10 (Matric) Result 2026 has been officially declared by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), on March 29, 2026, bringing relief and excitement to lakhs of students across the state.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their scorecards from the official websites.
In the Bihar Board 10th (Matriculation) Examination 2026, two female students emerged as state toppers. Pushpanjali Kumari of Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya and Sabreen Parveen from Uchcha Madhyamik Vidyalaya Chaurahi (Vaishali) shared the top honours, both securing 492 marks and being declared joint state toppers.
The results were announced following a 12-day evaluation process, with a total of 1,235,743 students passing the examination. The overall pass percentage stood at 81.79 per cent, with female students outperforming their male counterparts in success rate.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) reported approximately 15,12,687 candidates, including over 7.85 lakh girls and 7.26 lakh boys, who took the exam across nearly 1,699 centres in the state.
Earlier, on March 23, 2026, the board had also successfully announced the Class 12 results for all three streams, covering over 13 lakh students.
This year, the results have been announced in line with the board’s usual timeline, ensuring a smooth and timely evaluation process.

- Click on the link for “BSEB Class 10 Result 2026”
- Enter your Roll Code and Roll Number
- Click on ‘Submit’
- Your result will appear on the screen
- Download and take a printout for future reference.

Students who clear the Bihar Board Matric exam can proceed to choose their stream in Class 11 Science, Commerce, or Arts, based on their interests and scores.
Those who are not satisfied with their marks will also have the option to apply for scrutiny/re-evaluation, while students who fail in one or more subjects can appear for compartment exams.
Students are advised to keep their login credentials ready and avoid panic in case of website delays, as high traffic often leads to temporary slowdowns. The online marksheet is provisional; original certificates will be issued by respective schools later.
