Samsung Galaxy A57, Galaxy A37 launched: Price in India, specifications and all you need to know

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G have been launched in India. The phones come the latest additions to its popular A-series lineup, and focus heavily on bringing “Awesome Intelligence” – Samsung’s suite of AI features – to a broader audience, combined with long-term software support and hardware durability.

Samsung Galaxy A57 8GB + 256GB version price in India is set at Rs 56,999 while the 12GB + 256GB variant can be purchased at a price of Rs 62,499, as per the company website.

Samsung Galaxy A37 8GB + 128GB version price is set at Rs 41,999 while the 8GB + 256GB version is priced at Rs 47,499. The Samsung Galaxy A57 12GB + 256GB version can be purchased for Rs 52,999.

The phones will be available in multiple colourways:

Galaxy A57 5G: Awesome Navy, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac.

Galaxy A37 5G: Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, and Awesome Graygreen.

The headline feature for both models is the integration of AI through the new One UI 8. 5. Samsung is marketing these as intuitive tools designed to simplify productivity and creativity. These include:

Communication and Notes: A Voice Transcription feature in the Voice Recorder app that can transcribe and translate calls or turn voicemails into text.

AI Select: Users can now long-press the Edge Panel to extract text or images from the screen and drag them directly into Samsung Notes or a Photo Editor.

Photo Editing: Samsung says that the “Object Eraser” tool has been improved to remove background distractions more naturally. The Galaxy A57 specifically includes “Best Face” for group photos and “Auto Trim” for quick video editing.

Search and Assistants: Both phones feature “Circle to Search with Google”.

Apart from AI tools, Samsung has also upgraded the camera hardware and the Image Signal Processor (ISP) to improve clarity in difficult lighting.

Both devices use a triple-camera system led by a 50MP main sensor. For low-light photography, the “Nightography” feature has been enhanced to reduce noise and preserve natural skin tones. The Galaxy A57 5G offers a faster shutter speed and sharper detail processing compared to previous generations. The main sensor is supported by an ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro camera for close-up shots.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G feature octa-core CPUs. Both models feature Super AMOLED displays with “Vision Booster” technology for better visibility in direct sunlight.

The Galaxy A57 packs a 5,000mAh battery rated for up to two days of use. It supports “Super Fast Charging 2.0,” which can reach a 60% charge in approximately 30 minutes, as per Samsung. Both phones are rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, making them durable enough for accidental submersions.
