Vivo has launched two new smartphones in its Y-series — the Vivo Y21 and the Vivo Y11. The last device in the lineup, the Vivo Y31d, debuted earlier this year on January 10. Now, the company has introduced both smartphones with a 6,500mAh battery and the Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The Vivo Y11 is priced starting at Rs 14,999, while the Vivo Y21 begins at Rs 18,999. Both handsets are available in multiple colour options.
The Vivo Y21 and Vivo Y11 specs and features
The Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G, both devices feature 6.74-inch HD+ LCD displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. Vivo claims that the panels come with TV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. These are dual-SIM smartphones that run on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.
Under the hood, both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, featuring an octa-core setup with a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. The Vivo Y21 5G offers up to 8GB of RAM, while the Vivo Y11 5G supports up to 4GB. Both smartphones come with up to 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of cameras, the two devices feature dual rear camera systems with a QVGA secondary sensor. The Vivo Y21 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera, whereas the Vivo Y11 5G has a 13-megapixel main sensor. On the front, both phones include a 5-megapixel front camera. Camera features include Night, Portrait, Pro, Time-lapse, and Live Photo modes.
To fuel both smartphones, 6,500mAh batteries are there, with the Vivo Y21 5G supporting 44W fast charging and the Vivo Y11 5G offering 15W charging. The smartphones also carry IP65 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with SGS-certified military-grade shock resistance. For security, both devices come with side-mounted fingerprint scanners.
The Vivo Y21 and Vivo Y11 price, availability and colours
The Vivo Y11 5G is priced starting at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while its 4GB RAM and 128GB option is available at Rs. 16,999 in India.
The Vivo Y21 5G, on the other hand, begins at Rs. 18,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The mid-tier 6GB of RAM and 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 20,999, while the top-end 8GB/128GB configuration costs Rs. 22,999.
As part of launch offers, buyers can avail an instant cashback of up to Rs. 1,000 on the Vivo Y11 5G and up to Rs. 1,500 on the Vivo Y21 5G using select bank cards. Both smartphones are currently available for purchase in India via Flipkart and the Vivo India online store.
In terms of colours, the Vivo Y11 5G is offered in Midnight Blue and Sunrise Gold shades, while the Vivo Y21 5G comes in Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue options.
