Lenovo launches ‘India’s Gone Football’ AR game: How to play and win free trip to FIFA World Cup 2026

Lenovo has launched an augmented reality (AR) game in India called “India’s Gone Football”. This new game offers participants a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the FIFA World Cup 2026. The campaign is accessible via a mobile browser and lets users play a virtual penalty shootout using everyday objects as goalposts.

The initiative is part of Lenovo’s association as the Official Technology Partner for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Along with the grand prize, the company is also offering additional rewards, including Lenovo devices and merchandise.

India’s Gone Football AR game launched: How it works, rewards and eligibility

You can play the game at indiasgonefootball.com. It uses augmented reality to turn everyday rectangular things like TVs, laptops, and tables into virtual goalposts.

Players can use their phone’s camera to scan these items and take penalty shots to score points.

There are five penalty attempts per session, and the player earns points for each goal scored. The score is based on how quickly and accurately the goals are scored, with extra points for better performance. During the campaign, participants can try as many times as they want, but only the top 50 scores will count toward the final leaderboard.

Leaderboards will be updated regularly and shared on Lenovo India’s social media platforms, highlighting top-performing participants.

The campaign is open to participants across India, with users required to be 18 years or older to qualify for the grand prize: an all-expenses-paid trip to the FIFA World Cup 2026. Younger participants can still take part and compete for weekly rewards.

Users who own a Lenovo device can enter their device’s serial number on the platform to unlock a 4X score multiplier, which can improve their leaderboard ranking and increase their chances of winning.

With “India’s Gone Football,” Lenovo is combining gaming and AR technology to create an interactive experience for football fans. The campaign encourages users to engage with the sport digitally while competing for rewards linked to the upcoming global tournament.
