Creative Agent, which is available within Creative Studio, allows advertisers to generate ad concepts and formats through a conversational interface, while Ads Agent focuses on campaign execution by automating processes such as audience targeting, budget pacing, and analytics across platforms such as Amazon Marketing Cloud and Campaign Manager. Amazon Ads new Creative Agent AI tool is designed to act as a digital assistant that helps advertisers develop ad creatives more quickly. It analyses audience signals, product information, brand details, and existing assets to suggest themes and ideas that align with the intended audience.
The tool supports the full process of ad creation, from brainstorming concepts and writing scripts to generating images, animating scenes, adding voiceovers and music, and producing final video or display ads.
It uses a conversational interface, allowing advertisers to interact with it without needing specialised design skills.
At each stage, users can review and modify outputs, giving them control over the creative process. It also supports multiple ad formats across Amazon’s advertising platforms, including display and video formats.
In practice, an advertiser can input product details, brand guidelines, and audience information into Creative Agent, which then suggests concepts, visuals, and messaging. Once a direction is selected, the tool builds storyboards and develops the ad, while allowing edits throughout the process before generating the final output.
Meanwhile, Ads Agent focuses on campaign management using AI and Amazon’s data insights to support planning, execution, and optimisation. It is designed to handle tasks that would otherwise take longer manually, helping advertisers manage campaigns more efficiently.
The tool can create and organise campaign structures based on uploaded media plans, particularly for Amazon DSP campaigns. It also provides recommendations for audience targeting by analysing a large number of audience segments and suggesting relevant options and keywords. Advertisers can review and adjust these suggestions before applying them.
In addition, Ads Agent supports analytics via Amazon Marketing Cloud, enabling users to generate SQL queries via natural language. This allows advertisers to move from questions to insights more quickly, with guidance provided throughout the analysis.
