OnePlus has announced the launch of OnePlus Nord 6 in India soon. The smartphone, as announced by the company, will be available in three colour variants – Holographic Quick Silver, Fresh Mint, and Low-Reflection Pitch Black. OnePlus Nord 6 will be revealed on April 7 at 7 PM. The company has also revealed key features of the smartphones like processor, battery capacity and more. In a press release, OnePlus said that the Nord 6 will be “the first in its category to support sustained 165 FPS gaming in popular titles such as BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile and Free Fire”. Here’s a look at some of the features of OnePlus Nord 6
OnePlus Nord 6 features
OnePlus Nord 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform.
Built on a leading 4nm process, it features an advanced 1+3+4 core architecture, with a prime Cortex-X5 core reaching speeds of up to 3. 2GHz, supported by the premium Adreno 835 GPU.
The smartphone will be first in its segment to offer OnePlus-exclusive, PC-level sustained 165 FPS gameplay in popular AAA mobile titles, including BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile, and Free Fire MAX. Nord 6 will also feature advanced Edge Tech, a dedicated Touch Reflex Chip for ultra-fast 3200Hz instant touch sampling and a high-precision 6-axis gaming gyroscope with ±4000dps sensitivity for steady shot accuracy.
There will also be a built-in Spatial Audio Booster.
OnePlus Nord 6 will come equipped with the same 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED “Sunburst HDR” display as the flagship OnePlus 15 with 1800 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM) for clear outdoor viewing, and HDR peak brightness of up to 3600 nits for enhanced highlights and finer details. For nighttime comfort, the display supports 2 nits minimum brightness alongside 3840 Hz PWM dimming, reducing eye strain in low-light environments. Aqua Touch 2.0 ensures accurate and responsive touch even with wet or sweaty fingers.
OnePlus Nord 6 is powered by an exclusive G2 Wi Fi chip paired with next-generation 5G Advanced support, which delivers up to 3× faster peak data speeds with partners such as Reliance Jio.
The device is backed by a 9,000 mAh battery and is claimed to last up to 2.5 days of moderate daily use. The battery uses flagship-grade silicon-carbon technology with 15% silicon content, balancing massive capacity with a slim form factor.
The handset will come with 80W SUPERVOOC charging to deliver a full charge in approximately 70 minutes. Bypass Charging draws power directly from the charger instead of the battery during extended high-FPS gaming or 4K video capturing, reducing heat and wear. The phone also supports 27W wired reverse charging.
