BenQ RD280UG monitor: Key specs and features

The RD280UG features a 28-inch 4K+ display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate, allowing users to view more lines of code and scroll through content smoothly.

The Nano Matte panel is designed to reduce glare and reflections, helping maintain clarity in different lighting conditions.

The monitor includes Coding Modes that adjust contrast and display settings for different themes, as well as a Paper Colour Mode that reduces eye strain. Enhanced contrast and pixel clarity are designed to improve text readability and syntax differentiation.

To support long usage hours, the monitor integrates MoonHalo bias lighting and Night Hours Protection to reduce strain in low-light environments.

It also features eye-care technologies that automatically adjust brightness and colour temperature.

Ergonomic features such as height adjustment, rotation, and auto-pivot allow users to customise their setup. The monitor is compatible with macOS, Windows and Linux, and includes a dedicated Coding Hotkey for quick display adjustments.

“India’s developer community is one of the most dynamic and resilient in the world, often working long hours across complex stacks and fast-moving projects. With RD280UG, our goal was simple: to remove everyday visual barriers that slow developers down. From reducing eye fatigue to improving text clarity and minimising distractions, RD280UG helps developers stay immersed in their work and perform at their best for longer,” said Rajeev Singh, MD BenQ India.
