Speaking on her podcast, Kylie Kelce hinted at what listeners can expect by the end of March.
“In a couple weeks, you might be meeting a new Kelce because you’re getting the cuddliest, cutest, furriest ‘FAFO’ of them all on March 31, and that’s all I have to say about that for now,” she said.
Then came the tease that really caught attention. “Meow. I’m kidding. Am I? I don’t know. You’ll have to tune in and find out. Isn’t that kind of fun? OK!”
That single word set off speculation. Fans quickly connected the dots, especially given Kylie’s long known desire to bring a cat into the family. The conversation naturally circled back to Taylor Swift, who shares a close bond with the Kelces through her relationship with Travis Kelce.
Swift, a well known cat lover, had already tried to introduce her own pets to the family. Reflecting on that moment, she said, “It was actually really a great challenge because as soon as I got the kids around the cats, it was my goal to prove to them that they weren’t poisonous. And there’s no better way to prove that than to just hand them Benjamin, my rag doll cat, who lets humans hold him like he’s a baby.”
She even shared a sweet memory. “And I mean, my favorite thing ever is when [Jason’s daughter] Benny will come up to me and just go, ‘I find Benjamin. I find him,’” she said, describing how easily the kids connected with her pets.
Swift also hinted that the Kelce family might go for something more practical. “You’re getting, like, a proper cat. You’re getting a cat that chases mice. What I have is not that. They sit around, and that’s enough.”
Jason Kelce appeared to agree, adding, “There’s a chance I’ve been talked into a barn cat. That does not go inside, that will survive off of rodents in the field and guard our house.”
