Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang send a direct personal message to the company’s employees in Israel amid the ongoing US-Israel war. The CEO of the world’s most-valuable company, Nvidia shared the message during the company’s annual Nvidia GTC in San Jose. Addressing media at the GTC conference, Nvidia CEO reportedly said that the company has 6,000 employees (and their families) in Israel and he is very concerned about them, while the company’s operations there remain very stable.
According to a report in CNA, in the message to Nvidia employees in Israel, Huang said, “We have thousands of families in Israel. I’m very worried about all of you. Keep yourself safe. We are behind you, we are supporting you, and we look forward to seeing you.”
Responding to a question on geopolitical issues, Nvidia CEO said that the company will continue its long-term presence in Israel.
Huang reportedly made similar remarks of support earlier this year at the CES 2026 technology tradeshow. At the annual technology tradeshow in Las Vegas, Huang is said to have offered rare insight into Nvidia’s deep ties to Israel.
Jensen Huang on plans to visit Israel in 2026
At CES, Huang said he planned to visit Israel this year, with April initially earmarked for the trip. However, considering the Middle East war, it remains unclear whether or when the visit will take place. At the time, Huang described the Israeli workforce, which numbers more than 5,000 employees, in strikingly personal terms. “Our team in Israel is incredible,” he said. Huang also praised the dedication of Israeli employees to one another and to the country. He said, “The sacrifices they make for each other, for their country, are incredible. ”
Huang also spoke about how several of the company’s key chips, including BlueField-4 and multiple advanced networking components, were developed in Israel, making the country a central node in Nvidia’s hardware innovation pipeline.
Nvidia has steadily expanded its presence in Israel since acquiring Mellanox in 2019 for $6.9 billion. The deal reportedly transformed the company’s Yokneam headquarters into Nvidia’s primary Israeli hub.
Nvidia to expand operations in Israel
Nvidia recently confirmed plans to build a new campus in Kiryat Tivon, a project expected to employ up to 10,000 workers and rank among the largest private technology investments in Israel. The company made an official announcement in December 2025. At the time, Huang said, “Israel is home to some of the world’s most brilliant technologists and has become Nvidia’s second home. Our new campus will be a place where our teams can collaborate, invent, and build the future of AI. This investment reflects our deep and enduring commitment to our families in Israel and their unique contributions to the AI era. ”
