Streamer ERBY’s cage stream sparks controversy as Twitch issues ban over dangerous stunt

Streamer ERBY has landed in trouble after a strange and risky livestream caught the attention of many viewers online. The creator decided to sit in a dog crate for a long period of time as a challenge. His idea was simple and outrageous at the same time. He would stay in a dog crate as long as people were sending him money. The more people were sending him money, the longer he would stay in the crate.

The situation soon became more serious as viewers were also given control over what he did during the stream. Small payments could make him perform uncomfortable actions, like turning off the lights or pouring water on himself.

Within just three days, ERBY earned around $1,540. However, this unusual challenge did not sit well with Twitch, which stepped in and banned him for breaking its rules.

ERBY’s Dog Crate Challenge Leads To Bans On Twitch And Kick

However, ERBY’s stream was not just about sitting in a cage. There were other activities that people felt were not safe for ERBY. For instance, people could donate money for him to eat extremely spicy sauce or for him to stay in the cage for a longer period.

This was a problem because it could affect his health. There are rules and regulations on Twitch that do not allow people to perform acts of self-harm and dangerous acts, even for the sake of entertainment.

Twitch thus terminated ERBY’s account and removed all his videos and clips. Twitch also sent ERBY an email stating that he was asking for money in return for harmful acts. This is against Twitch’s Community Guidelines.

But even after this ban, ERBY decided to take his challenge to Kick, which is another platform where people can stream their content. But even here, nothing went right. His account was banned, and people could not view his content anymore. This was even bigger news, as people were discussing how far these content creators would go for money and views.

Until now, ERBY hasn’t really mentioned what his next move is. His fans are waiting to see whether he is going to take up another challenge or not.

This is how risky these challenges can turn out to be. Even though these challenges might bring him a lot of money, they might even land him in trouble.
