Xiaomi Pad 8 features and specifications

As for what the Pad 8 offers, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which brings a refreshed interface, updated lock screens, and customisable widgets. The software also supports split-screen multitasking in both vertical and horizontal layouts, allowing users to run two apps at once for better productivity.

The tablet features an 11-inch 3.2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which should result in smoother scrolling, gaming, and video playback. Xiaomi is offering both a standard glossy display and a nano-texture option that reduces glare, which may help users who spend long hours reading or working on the screen. On paper, the specifications look promising, and we will soon share our full experience, so stay tuned for our detailed Xiaomi Pad 8 review.

Under the hood, the device packs up to 12GB RAM and UFS storage, along with a 9,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and a 67W charger included in the box. Xiaomi says the tablet is designed to handle demanding tasks such as editing, gaming, and multitasking while still remaining easy to carry.

The Pad 8 also supports first-party accessories including the Focus Pen Pro, which adds pressure-sensitive input for drawing and note-taking, and keyboard attachments for laptop-style use. Xiaomi has also kept compatibility with accessories from the previous Pad 7, allowing existing users to upgrade without replacing their add-ons.
