Reports indicate that they had been living apart since July 2024, before formally ending their marriage. According to the legal filings, Hansika chose not to pursue alimony or streedhan from Sohael.
The court documents further revealed that differences in lifestyle, opinions, and temperament strained the relationship, resulting in frequent arguments. Despite attempts by family members and close friends to reconcile the couple, they ultimately decided that an amicable separation was the most suitable course of action for both parties.
